1. What is Centella Asiatica /Gotu Kola?
Centella asiatica/Gotu Kola is a dry whole grass of Centella asiatica, also known as line grass, ground line grass, husband root, etc. It is a perennial creeping herbaceous plant, often curled into a ball shape, and its stem is slender and nodular and rooted. Native to India, it is widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions of the world, and is mainly distributed in provinces south of the Yangtze River in China. Centella asiatica is born in moist river banks, swamps, and grasslands. Tao Hongjing said: This grass is named after cold and cold, and its name is Xuecao. It was first published in "Shen Nong's Herbal Classic", indicating that it has a long history of medicinal use in China. The Chinese Pharmacopoeia has been included in the Pharmacopoeia since the 1977 edition.
