1. Introduction of Glutathione Powder:
Glutathione, r-glutamyl cysteingl +glycine,GSH), Also known as γ-L-glutamyl-L-cysteine-glycine, a tripeptide
containing a γ-amide bond and a sulfhydryl group, which is composed of glutamic acid (Glu), cysteine (Cys)
and Glycine (Gly) is a non-protein thiol tripeptide compound that is condensed by peptide bonds. It is rich in
amino acids, peptides, vitamins, and trace elements. It is an extremely broadly-active short peptide. Extensive
in animals and plants, has an important role in the body.
2. Two forms of Glutathione Powder:
Glutathione has both reduced (G-SH) and oxidized (G-S-S-G) forms.
Under physiological conditions, reduced glutathione is the majority.
3. Main nutrients and effects:
L-Glutamate, L-Cysteine and Glycine
Glutathione is a general name for glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine. Cysteine plays an important role in the
function of glutathione, and "cysteine sulfate" is the key to its function.
* L-cysteine Efficacy: inhibit melanin from the
source.
* M-cysteine is directed to the fundus pigment cells, which blocks the conversion of metopin to melanin, inhibits
melanin production on the one hand, and reduces the melanin produced on the other hand.
* L-glycine: reducing antioxidant
Participate in the body's redox process. Under the action of glutathione transferase, it can bind to peroxides and
free radicals to fight cell oxidation and delay cell aging.
* L-glutamate: activates liver function
In vivo and combined with non-toxic glutamine, blood ammonia is reduced, which can alleviate liver coma and
maintain normal liver function.
4. Specification:
Reduced glutathione 98%, can support to customize specification according to customer’s requirements.
5. Flow Chart for Glutathione:
Fermentation ------Addition enzyme----Enzymatic hydrolysis---Purification Crystallization---Glutathione
Advantages of enzymatic production:
* Good water solubility;
* High purity;
* Less pollution, no solvent residue;
6. Characteristic:
Solubility |
Good water solubility. Soluble in dilute alcohol, liquid ammonia and dimethylformamide, insoluble in ethanol, ether and acetone. |
Stability | The solid state is relatively stable, and its aqueous solution is easily oxidized to oxidized glutathione (GSSH) in air. |
Odor |
Sulphur. The main function of glutathione stems from the thiol group (-SH) of a specific molecular formula, which is why glutathione smells sulphur. This particular odor is a unique identifier for reduced glutathione. |
